Indicators of sustainability in the comprehensive management tourist beaches. A study applied to Regional Park Calblanque (Murcia)
Abstract
Voluntary adoption of quality and environmental management systems at tourist beaches implies a susbstantial change in the approach related to the organization and regulation of uses and the explotation of these coastal zones. These quality and environmental management systems are required to keep economic and social profits, generated by the coastal zones, in the long time. One of the most important environmental control tools is the indicator. It is used like a control tool to facilitate important information, summarized, in form of concise declaration ready to take decisions. An analysis of the sustainable indicators in the Natural Calblanque Park allows detecting which are the most significant environmental aspects and their corrective measure to reduce the significance.
